Biography

When we asked Luca to tell us about one special moment in her career, she gave us two options : let her take some time to think about it and email us a couple days later, or clear our schedule for the next two days, stock up some coffee and energetic bars, and listen. "There has been so many fantastic moments since I've started , when I was 16. I've been modeling for one-third of my life so it's impossible to pick a single memory". Having posed for the most sought-after photographers in the world, including Paolo Roversi, Steven Klein and Patrick Demarchelier, Luca is at the peek of her career and the happy mother of a gorgeous babyboy, Gustav. "It was good to take a break after years of hard work. I guess I needed to step away from the fashion world to appreciate it again. But having a child made me change priorities. Eventhough modeling is still really important in my life, my baby comes first now". Luca and her little family live in Berlin. "It's the most exciting city in Europe. There's such a diversity of people there, I guess that's what makes it so special. Contrary to other cities, you don't adapt yourself to Berlin: the city adapts itself to you, in the sense that every person adds something to it, therefore the city constantly changes and reshapes. The weight of History is huge, also". Luca's biggest assets include her world-famous, highly expressive dancing ("unfortunately not popular everywhere"), and her unparalleled cooking skills, consisting mainly in mashing everything up . She admits not being able able to do any ball games, and confesses she loves to write postcards, especially the complimentary ones you can find in every café in Berlin.
